Looking through the examples on Planet of Hats, I see more than a few that would go on this page. Why split the page?

It works somewhat differently. Besides, it would be non-arcane name for those cases.
It's not like examples would overlap.
The description is semi-incoherent, there's only one example, and it's been untouched for a year and a half. I say nuke it.
As Robkelk says, there are some examples currently on Planet of Hats - it's in fact a differentiation split, since it is the same except for smaller scopes. But Planet of Hats is common enough and specific enough to have a sister trope split off.
If no one's bothered to clarify and expand this after more than a year and a half, not enough people see it as different enough to merit a separate page. I personally don't.
I'll give it a few weeks to see if any Wiki Magic manifests. But if no one's going to actually make a working page out of it, there's no point in keeping this.
Assuming the Wiki Magic doesn't happen, let's not forget to ensure the examples here are on Planet of Hats before dropping this page.

There was one, indeed. I just copied a bunch from Planet of Hats that fit here and didn't quite fit there. So now it's clear that by the number of examples it qualifies for a split.
Does it qualify for a separate article in itself? My view is that it does, because it's a Missing Supertrope (Planet of Hats = Country of Hats ∩ Planetville) and its absence demonstrably produces stretched examples.
