Talk:Cuphead

In tracking down the link in the Anti-Poopsocking entry I ended up comparing this article to its counterpart on TV Tropes. (I got suspicious when I noticed that the page was created in 2017, but had a mangled link to the TVT Cuphead page in that trope.) It is not a word-for-word duplicate, but it is of the "rewrite every sentence" variety that we have been discouraging other users from posting over the last few years. Apparently none of us thought to compare it to the TVT page when it was first created. I'm bringing it to the attention of the other mods in order to spur a discussion about reviewing works pages created over the last few years and making sure they are sufficiently original.

Well, I created the page, but haven't added anything to it since August. I didn't add the Trope you mentioned; Pretty sure a lot of the Tropes I added aren't even on the TVT version.

Not to be a narc here, but a lot of copied posts seem to have been made by someone named Ecclytennysmithylove

I actually hadn't looked at the tropes other than the one with mangled link; I just compared the main texts. When you notice that the third paragraph of both our article and TV Trope's page start with an ellipsis, used for sentence fragments with basically the same meaning that lead into substantially similar paragraphs, you start suspecting that it's not a coincidence.
