  • Nightmare Fuel: The video for "Famous Last Words", both the "official" and "leaked" versions. Various other songs such as "Blood", "Mama" and "This Is How I Disappear" contain lyrics which may be disturbing to some.
    • The "Famous Last Words" video is also responsible for lighting Bob Bryar's leg on fire. Ironically, he attempted to keep filming because he didn't want to frighten anyone.
  • Awesome Music: "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "Famous Last Words".
  • Ear Worm: "Dead!" Also, "Teenagers".
  • Heartwarming Moments: In the music video for "Cancer" we see a little girl cut off a very large amount of her hair and give it to her brother, who had just come home from a bought of chemotherapy.
  • Memetic Mutation: WHEN I WAS
  • Tear Jerker: "Disenchanted", "Cancer", "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "Famous Last Words".
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks: The album effectively divided the fanbase in two, as while many grassroot fans cried "Sellouts!" new fans asked "what's wrong with it?" This bought about The Great Poser Hunt Of 2006/07.
