Topic on Forum:Trope Talk

The old page "Performance Artist" has been renamed to "Into Musical Theatre", and a new "Performance Artist" page has been started about actual performance artists.

As I just posted on its talk page, there is a far more widely-accepted definition of Performance Artist than "Flamboyant Gay who's into theatre". I think we need to rename this trope to open up the name for an article on the usual meaning. Anyone have any suggestions?

Lacking any better suggestions, we could use "He's into musical theater"

Seconded Into Musical Theater/Into Musical Theatre.

Okay, I'll make the change, using the "theatre" spelling for consistency with the Theatre category.

Just to finish it off, I've manually updated the last link that pointed at "Performance Artist" instead of "Into Musical Theatre", and stubbed Performance Artist as a Useful Notes page about actual performance artists.
