... because the paragraphs about Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, The Matrix Resurrections and Die Hard have been lifted almost or entirely word-for-word from TV Tropes' equivalent page. This is copyright infringement as the material postdates the fork and TV Tropes' subsequent change of license in 2012. Because All The Tropes and TV Tropes run under different Creative Commons licenses, content created there after 2012 cannot legally be used. A check of the TVT page's history shows your name associated with edits to at least one of those passages, but it still does not appear to be entirely your own original work, which is the only case in which we can accept post-fork content from TV Tropes -- and then only with an explicit notice that such is the case in the edit reason.

You also have a number of small style and coding issues which by themselves would not have been enough for a rejection, but on top of the copyright infringement, well...

And thank you for your recent contributions, most of which have passed Moderation and have been applied to the Wiki. However, I regret to tell you that we've had to reject your proposed new page, The Apple/YMMV, because it was lacking all the markup necessary to integrate the page stylistically and functionally with the rest of the wiki.

We have templates that automate 90% of page design for you, and the templates for subpages are easily accessible via the "Create New" button on existing wiki pages. Simply go to The Apple, click "Create New", and pick "YMMV" from the dropdown menu that appears. This will put you in an edit window containing a skeleton YMMV page with all required markup, into which you can then paste your content. Please resubmit your new page in this manner and I guarantee it'll pass Moderation. (If you didn't keep a copy of your contribution, let us know -- we can recover it and send it to you.)

Finally we strongly recommend that you also read All The Tropes:How We Do Bans Around Here. This isn't a threat -- this is the wiki policy strictly controlling how and when user bans can be applied by an Admin.
