Yooka-Laylee is a 2017 video game produced by ex-Rare with funds raised by Kickstarter, and additional funding by publisher Team17. It was marketed as a Spiritual Successor to Banjo-Kazooie, and shares many similarities in both gameplay and aesthetics with said series. A sequel, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair was released in 2019.
The game follows Yooka, and his best friend Laylee, as they attempt to retrieve their magic book, which was stolen by the villain, Capital B.

- Plot Coupon: The Pagies.
- Pop Quiz: The final hurdle to unlocking a new area in the hubworld is beating "Dr. Quack's Quack-Fire Quiz", where you have to answer questions about the game.
- Racing Mini Game: One of Rextro's many mini-games
- Speaking Simlish: Carrying on the tradition from Banjo all of the characters speak like this.
