Yoshi Kart is a bizarre fanfic starring Yoshi and an entire slew of characters from Nintendo, SEGA, Rare, and other video game companies, including some non video game characters like Spongebob. It's one of Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus's most reviewed fanfics.
Tropes used in Yoshi Kart include:
- Author Appeal: What do you expect? This is the guy who wrote a love story between Elmer Fudd and grilled cheese.

- Crossover: Features a surprisingly huge cast.

- Gasshole: As typical, most of the girls are this, namely Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and May.
- Go-Karting with Bowser: And all the other villains.
- Growling Gut: May almost always has this.
- Mad Scientist: Dr. Hoshi.
- Original Character: Dr. Hoshi, Peppy Ankylosaurus, Heppy Ankylosaurus, Zirdo, Bronto the Brontosaurus, and Shelia the Stegosaurus the most prominent ones.
