- Funny Aneurysm Moment: The season finale of Pitchmen, where a pitch off is had between Billy and Sully, Billy wins said pitch off even with Sully using shills and trying to mess with him, and reclaims the shammy and chopping market from Vince Offer. All the while Sully claiming that he's unstoppable. Damn...
- He also did a few commercials for various life insurance companies, one which featured his twenty-something son and three year old daughter was first broadcast a few days before he died.

- In earlier 2009 during the last days of Jay Leno's reign as host of The Tonight Show he had Billy Mays do a skit that was him advertising William Shakespeare themed products. Many viewers found it to be a great example of Billy Mays doing some Adam Westing. Jay Leno said that this was originally going to be in his new show in the fall but he decided to do it before the summer on The Tonight Show.
