Skid
A cheery, cute kid wearing a skeleton costume.
Tropes exhibited by this character include:
- Berserk Button: Do not yell at his mom in front of him, that's one of sure fire ways to actually make him angry.
- Cheerful Child
- Creepy Child: He is seen as creepy/realistic in the first two episodes. He is a cute cheerful child for the rest of the series.
- Children Are Innocent: He (and Pump) are very easy to manipulate.
- Disappeared Dad: We never see his dad and if him being ripped out of photo is any indication, Lila would like to keep it that way.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: On photos on the wall, he has long purple hair like Lila.
- Failed A Spot Check: Unlike Pump, he apparently never knew the Happy Fella doll was possessed.
Pump
Best friend of Skid, a cute kid wearing a pumpkin costume.
Tropes exhibited by this character include:
- Annoying Younger Sibling: To Susie. He often pranks her. Though, she does care for him and Skid.
- Cheerful Child: He is a sweet caring kid who loves Spooky Month.
- Creepy Child: Not as much as Skid, but in 'Unwanted Guest', he wants to buy the Happy Fella doll and burn it to see if it screams.
- Fat and Skinny: He is definitely more chubbier than Skid.
Lila
Skid's mother who loves him (and Pump) to bits.

- Action Mom: She would rather play defensive, but 'Deadly Smiles' and 'Tender Treats' show she is willing if Skid and Pump are in danger.

Roy
Leader of the Hatzgang.
Tropes exhibited by this character include:
- Jerk With a Heart of Gold: He and the Hatzgang are stealing candy in 'Tender Treats'...for Robert's sick sister. At the end of the episode, it gives up his own bag of candy for Robert's sister.
- Rape as Backstory
- Tragic Villain: It's implied he was molested by his uncle and his parents are implied to be abusive.
Ross
A member of the Hatzgang, the most indifferent to the trio.
Tropes exhibited by this character include:
- Disappeared Dad: Word of God says he and Jaune are still married, but we never see Ross' dad, save for some photos.
- Emo
- Everyone Has Standards: In 'Deadly Smiles', he and Robert (and Dexter) get upset when Roy says 'gimme your clothes'. They do apologize when he clarifies he just wants their sweaters.
- Like Father, Like Son: Word of God says he gets his looks from his mom, but personality from his dad.
Robert
A member of the Hatzgang, who despite his eeriness, is the nicest out the trio.
Tropes exhibited by this character include:
- Big Brother Instinct: He speaks very highly of his sister in 'Unwanted Guest' and 'Tender Treats'.
- Cheshire Grin: He is seen smiling a lot of the time, though they turn less creepy as the episodes go on.
- Irony: Despite being the creepiest looking of the trio, he is the nicest out of the three of them.
- Jerk With A Heart Of Gold: He is the nicest out of the trio, liking the Happy Fella dolls, and he doesn't hurt Skid and Pump after 'Unvisited Guest'.
Kevin

- Implied Love Interest: 'Kevin x Streber' is written on the bathroom wall in 'Tender Treats', Kevin has been confirmed to be pansexual, and Sr. Pelo himself has retweeted some Candybats fanart.
Jaune
Lila's best friend and drinking buddy. She is also the mother of Ross.

- Parental Neglect: Not to an abusive level as after getting by Bob, she is willing to go look for him. But she doesn't seem to notice he's in a Gang of Bullies.
- Related All Along: She is Ross' mother.

A perky goth vampire that gets mauled by Bob.
- Ambiguous Situation: It's left ambiguous over whether he survived getting mauled by Bob, though some art show he could have survived and became an amputee.

- Vampire: Dresses like one.
