Talk:Lemon

I'm surprised that it took this long to notice, but this page was prudepurged of examples by TV Tropes in mid-April 2012. I've gotten my hands on the source for the deleted examples section, and I stand ready to convert and restore it. A review of its contents shows that it isn't particularly explicit in any way, but that it was simply a victim of the Sex Is Evil/"Sex Threatens Our Revenue" mindset that seized TVT at that time.

I'd be tempted to use "Lemon" as a category rather than a trope, but there's only one work tagged with Category:Lemon as I type this so I might be outvoted here. Or maybe nobody asked. Anyway. Sure, re-add the list, and then we can decide whether we want an index page or a category once we see how big the list is.

I would be inclined to agree with you if it turns out we have more than one lemon work documented and can give the category a good initial population. Failing that, the examples section isn't terribly large, just about 12K.

I say restore it and we'll decide where to go from there. We should have a fair amount of fanfic that count as lemons to categorize IIRC.

And speaking of which, thanks to the examples, I discovered a page for a fic which got deleted for the usual bogus "just mentioning it exists is icky" reasons two months before the fork. I've pulled it out of the Wayback Machine and have it queued up for conversion and restoration.
