Looks fine. Definitely a trope. Wish we had more non-anime examples but seeing how it's correlated to Fundamentally Female Cast it's not all that surprising to find that ratio. Should be launchable.
While checking whether existing links should remain pointed here or point at Token Lesbian Couple instead, I found five more non-anime examples. (And one more anime example.) So they're out there - we just need to find them.
