No idea, I guess it's supposed to be a mad wizard of some sort. Still should be changed, IMOHO.
I think the image is just self-explanatory enough to warrant keeping, but I wouldn't object to it being replaced, either. If we end up keeping it, I do think a caption would be a welcome addition.

A caption would be ideal if this is kept. Something to highlight the immense magical power coming from the head, and the ragged clothes symbolizing insanity.
Trying to depict insanity or power in a single piece of art is not so straightforward, let alone both at the same time. If better art can be found, I’m all for that too.
I think it could be made more obvious, but I can't think of any possible replacement right now that would do the trick.
