According to Merriam-Webster, "voice of reason" is defined as "a person who influences others to act sensibly". It has nothing to do with minorities, or with being without flaws (that's Mary Sue).
Is there a more appropriate existing trope to change the "Voice of Reason" redirect to?

I typed "Voice of Reason" in on that other Trope site, it has the same redirect. I assume "Voice of Reason" was the Trope's original name, but hard to say seeing as it is a Category.
Yeah, sounds like something we inherited and never reviewed.
Off the top of my head, Only Sane Man might be a good target to use instead. Otherwise, create an entirely new trope to use the name.

I've started a stub for a new trope candidate in my sandbox; when it's ready for discussion, I'll move it into the Trope Workshop. So far, all it has is the dictionary definition and this paragraph: "Supertrope to Closer to Earth (where a character is shown or stated to be sensible because the character is a member of a minority) and Only Sane Man (where the character is the only one who is sensible). Compare with Cassandra Truth (where the character tries to influence others but is ignored) and Surrounded by Smart People (where the character shows by example that intelligence is not necessarily sensible)."
