"I'm just CRAZY about this store!"
—The Killer
|
In a market after closing hours, a bunch of people are working late. One of the worker's abusive ex-boyfriend then starts harassing her and soon they are being killed gruesomely one by one.
Even though it is a by-the-book Slasher Film, it gained cult status after its release in 1989 for having plenty of Sam Raimi regulars present (including the man himself) in the cast and its gorntastic kills.
The kill scenes were cut severely by the producer for its initial release, but they are restored in the 2008 DVD-release.
Prices for these examples were cut:
- Accidental Murder: How Craig got into prison prior to the events of the film.
- An Arm and a Leg
- Barehanded Blade Block
- Billing Displacement: Despite having just a small part near the end, Bruce Campbell has a top billing on DVD-releases.

- Hope Spot: The couple, and the bread guy.
- Knife Nut: The killer prefers big knives. For the last third of the film he picks up a cleaver.
