My Life Is Average (abbreviated MLIA) is a website comprising user-submitted stories about their daily lives. Stories often follow the format, "Today [amusing but mundane thing] happened. MLIA." The first stories published were genuinely average: Things about eating, sleeping or going to class. The site has since evolved into a celebration of the everyday extraordinary, including unusual sightings, lucky finds and Harry Potter references. MLIA.

• Fridge Brilliance: Anyone else wonder why they don't label the new ones like FML? Because everything there is meant to be "average" and regular, so labeling the new ones would make them different from every other one.
