Suggestion: Split the trope from the useful notes

Considering I'm the one who separated Sobriquet and Red Baron, my opinion should be obvious.

Yes, split the Useful Note and the Trope.

Chiming in to agree.

Concur with Umbire.

Guess I have another task to do...

Any suggestions for the trope name before I get started?

Umbire the Phantom (talkcontribs)

None're coming to mind that feel snappy enough - Seductive Spy feels just a bit too plain and broad...

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

The Other Wiki suggests "femme fatale" on its page about the person, but we're already using that name for a related trope.

"Seductive Double Agent", perhaps?

Umbire the Phantom (talkcontribs)

That's better, yeah - still wanna see if I can rev the fryers up and bring some other options.

Lequinni (talkcontribs)

I do like Seductive Spy, it may be plain but it's alliterative and gets to the point enough. "Seductive Agent", may be better?

Umbire the Phantom (talkcontribs)

Yeah, Seductive Agent is just a bit better but I prefer the alliteration.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

And finally done. Mata Hari and Seductive Spy. Now I just need to point all the old links from the first to the second.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

And I've just finished that. Surprisingly (or maybe not), about a third of the existing links were for Mata Hari the person, not the trope.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

I'm not surprised. The proportion is higher than the proportion was for Red Baron, but the same effect appeared there.

I guess people just naturally assumed a page named "foo" is about "foo" and not "bar".

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Silly people. Don't they know the way TV Tropes does things is the only proper way?

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

Who needs common definitions in language, anyway? Besides the dictionary writers, that is. Everybody else knows that spleen zwilnick blipvert gradely pink.

More seriously, I see that Mata Hari and Seductive Spy share the same page image as of this posting. Not a huge issue, but it doesn't help differentiate the two pages.
