This isn't something I'm gonna pursue but I feel it's at least worth discussing - wouldn't "Fascist and Inefficient" be a very slightly better name, seeing as it's the rule rather than the exception with real-life fash governing?

As a person who lives in a country where people seem to have this disturbing nostalgia for dictatorships because "they made infrastructure!" and then you discover that most of the infrastructure attributed to said dictators were actually made or completed by non-dictatorial governments, I approve of your proposed change Umbire.

Yeah, that one's a definite improvement.
While I like the first name suggestion, the second could be considered a generalization. As a history student, I concur, fascism is, sooner or later, going to have it's internal contradictions pile up and is inefficient as a result, but there may be a work that portrays a fascist government that DOES work, hence the trope would not apply.
The first name makes more sense when describing fascist governments chosen specifically because they were believed more efficient and that proved wrong (such as it did IRL with Nazi Germany).
I will not contest the second name if I'm outvoted, but just thought I'd add my two cents.
I like the idea of "Inefficient Facism" myself. Flows and rolls off the tongue better.
