Baskup
A French television show airing on France 3 in September 2011, Baskup: Tony Parker (or simply Baskup), also named The Basketeers in English, is a television project by Tony Parker in the same vein as another sports show produced by Tele Images, but is based on basketball IN AMERICA.
The Baskup (Street Basketball) tournament is near and Tony Parker handpicks five teenagers who all share a passion for basketball and aim to be the best at no cost. They go by the team name The High Fives:
- Rudy Targui: The point guard and team captain of the High Fives who is also the narrator.
- Mike Nguyen: The tall guy who always goes by the name "Panda Mike" due to his panda hat. He is best friends with Leo as part of a comic relief duo.
- Leo Jugelmann: The youngest of the High Fives. He is best friends with Mike.
- Mia Rodriguez: The girly girl of the High Fives, who is interested in celebrity gossip.
- Stella Jugelmann: The strategist of the High Fives as well as Leo's older sister. Her strategies often foreshadow the outcome of each game.
Tropes used in Baskup include:
- Brilliant but Lazy: Mike would sleep and Mia would read one of her magazines.
- Butt Monkey: Both Leo and Mike.
- Tony slips into this sometimes.
- Celebrity Toons/Ink Suit Actor: Real-life basketball player Tony Parker is the coach of the High 5 team.
- Dumb Blonde: Averted. Stella, who is blonde, is the smart one.

- Five-Token Band: Rudy is Black, Mike is Vietnamese, Mia is Hispanic and Leo and Stella are White.
