Dark Cloud/Trivia

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Hey, It's That Voice!: And how...
    • Max is voiced by Scott Menville, widely known for being the voice of Robin from Teen Titans, and Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia.
    • Cedric is voiced by Paul Eiding, who also plays Grandpa Max from Ben 10 and Colonel Campbell from the Metal Gear series.
    • Monica is voiced by Anndi McAfee, also known as Phoebe from Hey Arnold!, among others.
    • Young Lin is voiced by Kim Mai Guest, who also did the voice of Etna.
    • Sirus is voiced by Kath Soucie. That's right. Phil and Lil Deville from Rugrats voice Emperor Griffon (in fact, she uses Phil's voice). This is pretty scary when you consider the example below.
    • Human Emperor Griffon is voiced by Mark Hamill AKA LUKE FRIGGIN' SKYWALKER. Ahem. He's also the Joker from Batman the Animated Series, and Ozai from Avatar: The Last Airbender (but that came later), though he sounds exactly like Skeleton King from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!. In other words, Emperor Griffon evolves from a Rugrat into the clown prince of crime. Coincidently, Gaspard is voiced by Rino Romano, who is Batman from The Batman series. Make of that what you will.
    • And Flotsam is voiced by Philip Proctor, who voiced Phil and Lil's father. So the Rugrats become the Joker and tell their father, Batman and Liquid Snake to hunt Robin and Phoebe? And then it turns out that Liquid Snake was behind it all all along!
    • Dr. Jaming and Dark Element are voiced by Cam Clarke, who also played Kratos Aurion in Tales of Symphonia and Liquid Snake in Metal Gear Solid.
    • Dr. Knobb is voiced by Ryan O'Donohue, who also played Randall from Recess, young Kovu in the sequel of The Lion King and Demyx in Kingdom Hearts II.
  • Urban Legend of Zelda: In the decade following Dark Chronicle's release, rumors abounded of a third game in the series. Oh, if only...
  • What Could Have Been: This trailer for the beta seen in 1999 - Amazing how many things didn't make it in the final.
