Persona Q is a crossover game featuring the cast of Persona 3 and Persona 4. In the game both parties find each other transported into a strange Japanese high school, which features a large clock tower.
This game was developed for the Nintendo 3DS and released around 2014. The gameplay is a hybrid between Shin Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey. As players navigate a team of characters through a dungeon, the player must maintain bearings of where they are and handle navigation themselves. This rewards players who pay attention to landmarks and significant map patterns, as well as to those with a good sense of direction. To aid this, the player is able to draw and annotate a map in game. Successfully navigating a dungeon also requires resource management to make up for attrition.
The battle system leans more into the classic Persona formula, with most of the mechanics being adapted for the new game format.
It got a sequel on the 3DS: Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, releasing in 2019 in the United States of America. That game incorporated many of the same elements as the original Persona Q, but added the cast of Persona 5 as well.
- Crossover: From a gameplay standpoint, this is also one between Shin Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey.

- Dungeon Crawling: The main activity of the game while inside the labyrinth.
- Evil Tower of Ominousness: The clock tower is a downplayed example, being more ominous for how out of place it is rather than aesthetics.
- Graphics-Induced Super Deformed: Due to the limitations of Nintendo 3DS hardware. Making characters easily recognizable and expressive on the relatively low resolution 3DS display is probably easier with this art style.
- The Grim Reaper: The reaper can make an appearance.
- High School: A Japanese style high school is where the cast is trapped.
- Nintendo Hard: On the higher difficulties, the player can be put in a jam rather easily, especially if they don’t plan far ahead.
- Red Armband of Leadership: The SEES members have an armband.
- Robot Girl: Aegis, as she was in Persona 3.
- Run or Die: Unless the player is well prepared or has a good strategy, FOEs are likely to total the party if they are fought against.
- Super-Deformed: In part to carry on the style of Etrian Odyssey.
- Team-Up Series: Between Persona 3 and Persona 4.
- Trapped in Another World: The cast of Persona 3 and Persona 4 are stuck in a strange school.
