Trivia about Shark Tale includes:

The film was going to be released on November 5, 2004, but it was moved up to October 1, 2004 to prevent competition with The Incredibles. This helped the film reach number one at the box office for three weeks straight.
Fan Nickname: Fans like to nickname the film A Shrek Alt because the anagram is quite accurate.
Old Shame:
- DreamWorks Animation prefers not to bring it up nowadays despite giving it a Blu-ray release on 2019.
- Averted with Jack Black and Angelina Jolie, who said that their experience with the film helped them get ready for Kung Fu Panda.
