Tsugumi Harudori

The protagonist of Soul Eater Not!, she is a weapon from Japan who hadn't even transformed once when she first got to the school. She hero-worships Maka.

Blade on a Stick: Her weapon form, or in more specific terms, a halberd.
Girlish Pigtails
Love Triangle: Meme and Anya are competing over who gets to be her meister. Due to the nature of weapon/meister pairs, this is how it comes off.
Meaningful Name: Some translators consider her last name as Halberd. Guess what her weapon form is?

Meme Tatane

One of Tsugumi's two roommates, and a meister. Ridiculously ditzy, but hinted to be more than she lets on.

Big Breasts, Big Deal: Type 4
Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: When attacked while she was asleep, she was able to fight off the attacker without waking up.
The Ditz: To the point that she has forgotten her own name several times.

Anya Hepburn

One of Tsugumi's two roommates, and a meister. A spoiled rich girl, she has trouble relating to anyone who didn't grow up wealthy.

Fish Out of Water: She's definitely not used to living among "commoners."

Akane Hoshi

One of the most skilled members of the NOT class, and something like Tsugumi's love interest. He is also a survivor of the Star Clan, like Black Star.

Anime Hair: In Soul Eater Not!, his hair is quite normal, save for the big lock of hair that covers the eye that signifies his heritage. In the Soul Eater series, he seems to develop a more punky hairstyle, with more gravity-defying elements.
Bishounen
Continuity Nod: Participates in a major battle of his own during the Battle on the Moon against one of Kishin's soldiers.
Exotic Eye Designs: Has one star-shaped like the rest of his clansmen.
Long-Lost Relative: He's related to Black Star, as another survivor of the Star Clan.
Meaningful Name: Translated, his name is Red Star.
