Fan Nickname: Some have come to referring the altered versions of Emil's artes by names referring to the elements that alter them (like Demon Fang becoming Black Fang when infused by darkness due to the Tenebrae skill, or Burning Havoc, Phoenix Gale, & Ravaging Thunder for Havoc Strike, Phoenix Rush, and Ravaging Tiger when infused with their respective elements through skills).
Hey, It's That Voice!: In the dub, Marta's voice actor is actually a FUNimation regular VA Laura Bailey (Who voices Keiko of Yu Yu Hakusho, Young Trunks in Dragon Ball and even Shin Nohara from Shin Chan) and her Japanese version is done by the queen of Tsundere: Rie Kugimiya. Emil and Ratatosk, voiced by professional Anime voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch, have the voices of Renton from Eureka Seven and Ichigo Kurosaki, respectively. Lloyd is clearly Takato.
- OBJECTION! Ratatosk is clearly Zero, with regular Emil possibly even sounding a little like Lelouch when he's being the Rich Idiot With No Day Job.
  - Only one problem with that and that's that young Lelouch was voiced by Michelle Ruff. However, there are parts in the beginning of season 2 where Lelouch and regular Emil sound exactly alike.
- Johnny Yong Bosch also does Almaz from Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, which is funny since Emil's Japanese voice actor Hiro Shimono also does Almaz.
- Also, Aqua in the dub. Is that Haruhi Suzumiya? Yep.
- Richter in the English dub: Oh hai Tomitake.
- Alice, voiced by Mami Kingetsu in the Japanese version, is what Shiori Fujisaki would sound like if she pulled a Face Heel Turn.
- Also, in the English version, when Emil meets Kratos, you must realize that Kaneda is indirectly Talking to Himself.
The Other Darrin: Out of all the returning cast, only Colette, Presea and Kratos kept their original voices.
Screwed By The Budget: The game was deemed an 'escort' (side) title in the series and given limited budget. It shows.
