At the moment, it doesn't, but there's a request for examples.

I'm wondering whether we'd end up needing to patrol the page for violations of All The Tropes:No Lewdness, No Prudishness whenever an example is added. We don't have enough mods to handle all the work we have now.

Should we just call this a Useful Note and let it sit without examples?

Ugh... This is a toughie... IMOHO, I'd keep it as a Trope but not allow examples.

Mm. Checking the Wayback Machine, I see that the trope did once have examples which were purged in late March 2012, probably during the post-GI2 "Sex is Evil" rampage by TVT's newly-appointed censors. By our existing policies regarding TVT censorship we should by all rights restore them. A lot of the examples are mocking the concept, too, which I feel is interesting in-context commentary.

And honestly, this is a trope, probably one that should go in the Accidental Trope category since it seems to be born of wishful thinking, ignorance, inexperience or a combination thereof.

In that case, let's restore the examples that were cut a decade ago, as per our policy.

I'll grab them and start on the conversion after work tonight.

And done. I haven't checked every link, but I did check enough, and flagged a couple as dead. We also have three "there was this fic" entries with no titles or links, now flagged with verify. I deleted one example that really wasn't. And I commented out text in an example which was basically a Google search link and the instruction to click the second result to see what the troper was talking about. That probably didn't work ten minutes after he posted it, let alone 11 years after it was deleted.
