I'm from Miami, and can verify that there are weirder crimes than cartels. When I was a teen, two guys left a dead shark on the Subway.

I agree that this looks like a Useful Note to me.

As for Miami and cartels, I suspect - but can't prove - that this page is using the Hollywood Atlas, not the Real Life one. We should say that on the page, of course.
