Proposal for Category change

HeneryVII (talkcontribs)

This Trope is divided into generations representing years; I see no problem with this, but I wonder if it might be okay to add a category for Repeat Offenders, as in, entire franchises of shows and films that nobody seems able to create a good adaptation of, but not for lack of trying. For example, there are about a dozen games that are adapted from Ghostbusters and all of them stink, so maybe putting them all in one place might help rather than divide them into the given categories. .

It can't hurt to add a category of Repeat Offenders.

HLIAA14YOG (talkcontribs)

I find that prone to cause confusion. If I'm outvoted I will acquiesce but I find no reason of why franchise games should be separated from others.

GentlemensDame883 (talkcontribs)

I'm not really sure it's necessary (and where in the page are you going to throw it, anyway?), but I have no strong disagreement if that turns out to be how the wind blows.

Oh, and excuse you, the 2009 Ghostbusters game was great.

Agiletek (talkcontribs)

Yeah, 2009 game was good.

RivetVermin (talkcontribs)

If you think there's enough demand for it, sure. I take it this will be placed at the top, above 2nd gen?

HeneryVII (talkcontribs)

Probably, yeah.

And in reply to Dame and Agileteck, yeah, I'll admit the 2009 one was an exception.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

Hmmmmm... We don't sort examples by age on any other trope page... oh, but this is a Just For Fun page.

If doing this would make it easier for other tropers to play, why not do it?

Lequinni (talkcontribs)

It's a Just for fun page and one about things that have had negative reception -- I remember that in some pages for So Bad stuff and Troubled Production have a Repeating Offenders category, so if having one here can help with organization, go ahead.
