It's a trope. And it has three obvious examples in the main text someone could repurpose.

Gotta question, though. The description says it's done to heroes by villains, but aren't there quite a few examples in Mook Horror Show of heroes stalking villains that would fit too?

Tropes Are Flexible - we can call those inverted examples, or change the description.
