A Threesome Is Manly's Distaff Counterpart. Also, the most common form of threesome... at least, it is in porn. When taken Up to Eleven, we'll have two other bisexuality tropes: Everyone Is Bi for girls and No Bisexuals for boys.

Unlike the guys in A Threesome Is Manly, the girls in A Threesome Is Hot will view themselves as bisexual quite easily. Also, this is the most common threesome out there, so Truth in Television.

• No threesomes, but two foursomes in the comics by Dori Seda.
• In Cry for Justice, Green Arrow congratulates Hal Jordon on the alleged threesome he had with Huntress and Lady Blackhawk. An issue of Birds of Prey had Black Canary ask Huntress about this, and Huntress reveals that Hal just got drunk and passed out, making this a combination Take That and Retcon.
• In Harley Quinn's series in The New 52, Harley has an Erotic Dream where she marries Bruce Wayne and invites Poison Ivy to the honeymoon.
• Doctor Strange (or rather, an alternate version of him) has done this twice. In Dark Avengers his alternate Reality counterpart (or maybe future counterpart - it's hard to say) did so with Clea and Tigra, while in New Avengers: ILLUMINATI # 3 he does so with Clea and Scarlet Witch. Note that even mainstream Clea is often depicted as... liberated as far as things like this go, so this is not much of a surprise.

• In American Pie 2 Steve Stifler has a threesome with two hot women whom he mistakenly believed were lesbians.
• Utterly and completely Defied (along with further defying Double Standard Rape) in more than one way in Willy's Wonderland. When Tammy and Sarah (the two female among the animatronics) confront the Janitor (whose hands are cuffed behind his back) Sara cruelly remarks, "Hey, cowboy, ready for a little menage de trois?" strongly suggesting that they intend to rape him before killing him. The Janitor doesn't find that amusing at all and proceeds to break free of the handcuffs and beat the ever living crud out of them.

Live Action Television

• How I Met Your Mother featured an episode where Ted met up with an old one-night-stand (which he was too drunk to remember the details of) and her old sorority friend and was close to "Riding The Tricycle" as Barney called it. The episode revealed Barney had come close to riding the tricycle but chickened out at the last minute.
  • The same episode featured Barney referring to the other type of threesome negatively by calling it "The Devil's Threeway".
• An episode of Coupling focuses on two lead male characters trying to get into one of these threesomes ("It would be like a breast octopus!"), only to find out a woman is trying to get into the other kind with the two of them.
• Nip Tuck features several, including one for Matt with his cheerleader ex-girlfriend and her girlfriend and Christian with a mother-daughter combination.
• Entourage has E and Sloane having one with one her friends. E wakes up the next day spooning the wrong girl. Hilarity Ensues.
• One Leverage episode has Parker stumbling in on The Mark's daughter making out in a food pantry - and being invited to join in.
• Bo has one with a married Fae couple in Lost Girl.

Religion and Mythology

• Threesomes with a mother and daughter are forbidden by the Bible.
  • Which is precisely why the Devil (played by Gabriel Byrne) pulls this off in the movie End of Days.

Video Games

• Alistair excuses his acceptance of a threesome with the player character (female only) and Isabela in Dragon Age with "What can I say? I'm a weak, weak man."
  • Whereas Leliana will insist on coming along with the player character (male or female) and Isabela in order to keep an eye on things... Oghren, on the other hand, faints at the mere thought of it.
  • Similarly, in Dragon Age II, Hawke can imply this during conversation with Anders (if pursuing a relationship with him): the third party in this instance is Justice. It's even lampshaded later, by Isabela.
• In the first Mass Effect, this is one way of resolving the Love Triangle with Shepard. Ashley/Kaidan doesn't go for it.
• In Jade Empire it's possible for a male character to have a threesome with Dawn Star and Silk Fox.
• The Witcher subverts this with the infamous Triss and Yennefer Threesome scene, which occurs if you try to commit yourself to both women. They invite Geralt for a threesome, but it's a trap; they tie him up and rob him as their way of dumping him.

Western Animation

• Miraculous Ladybug: in a case of Getting Crap Past the Radar, in the episode "Timebreaker" some Time-Travel shenanigans cause two Ladybugs to appear at once. Cat Noir, who has a crush on Ladybug, says this.

Cat Noir: Wow! Two Ladybugs? I must be in heaven!

• Played for Laughs at the end of the Season 4 finale of Rick and Morty, where the Ambiguous Clone Ending regarding Beth is still ambiguous as neither of them really wants to know, and Jerry is very accepting of the idea of two wives. Even if both of them are Beth.
