Reiji and Xiaomu
Tropes shared by both:
- Badass Creed: Recited during the Shinra Bansho, which reference the elements that they wield.
- Battle Couple
- Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Xiaomu starts it, Reiji usually finishes it.
- Bottomless Magazines: Though they do reference having to reload and change out ammo, so they apparently do have limited ammo, we just don't see the reloading.
- Casual Kink: Spanking. Reiji dishing it out, Xiaomu on the receiving end.
- Combination Attack/Limit Break: Shinra Banshou.
- Deuteragonist: Each plays one half of this role.
- Dual Wielding: They are depicted doing so in games after Namco X Capcom.
- Elemental Powers: They utilize all but wind elemental attacks.
- Expy: According to the creators, of Kyosuke Nanbu and Excellen Browning.
- Guns Akimbo: Reiji has a .44 magnum revolver and a lever-action shotgun, while Xiaomu wields dual pistols
- Gun Kata: Displayed prominently during their Multiple Assault attack in Namco X Capcom.
- Leitmotif: "Yuragi no Machi no Arisu" in Endless Frontier. It literally is rendered as "The Trembling City of Arisu", but is transliterated as "Alice in Fluxland".

- Walking Armory: Reiji wields two katanas, a shotgun and a revolver while Xiaomu brandishes a Sword Cane and goes Guns Akimbo.
- Wife Husbandry: Xiamou is hinted to have been romantically involved with Reiji's father, and it seems to be repeating with Reiji himself, though Xiamou waited until Reiji was of age at least.
