Scale Wars is a new-defunct Photo Comic featuring action figures from many lines including G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Marvel Comics, DC, Indiana Jones, WWE, and the ever popular much, much more. It combines all of these mix matched universes into one small town where the figures live, breath and fight an eternal war of slapstick and wisecracks. The wars constantly wage and the battle lines are always being redrawn. At the center of the comic is a congregation of characters lead by Toxo-Zombie and featuring such characters as Darth Vader, Snake Eyes, Deadpool, Firefly, Triple-H, Captain America, Storm Shadow, Thor, Jason Voorhees, Batman, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hellboy, Optimus Prime, Ash, Hulk, The Lone Ranger among others in unbelievable and zany adventures. Scale Wars was updated Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week and sometimes on the weekends, but it appears to have abruptly stopped updating around May 2013. Its website subsequently vanished entirely a few years later.

A Wayback Machine archive of the comic can be found here..

Tropes used in Scale Wars include:

Firefly: I think you underestimate the power of the sneaky.
Even Pell: We’re all gonna die!
Any Wrestler: It’s Professional Wrestling, it never makes sense.
Anyone: It’s an Homage! (anytime something is clearly lifted directly from another source)

  • Power Stable: Triple-H joined with Optimus Prime to form a new version of DX, Later Shawn Michaels joined as well eventually bringing in She-Hulk who filled in the role of Chyna.
  • Pro Wrestling Is Real: Triple-H has pointed out to the other wrestlers that they are “Real Life Superheroes.”
  • This Trope Is[BLEEP]: Most of Samuel L. Jackson’s dialogue has to be “bleeped” out due to the high content of swearing.
  • Beware the Superman: Superman was exposed to Red Kryptonite (which has a different effect with each exposure) and now has a crush on Batman.
  • Bruce Wayne Held Hostage: Because of Superman’s advances, Batman often is too distracted to use his impressive “Outwit” ability.
  • Superman Stays Out of Gotham: Batman made Superman make an abstinence pledge in order to protect himself
  • It Sucks to Be the Chosen One: Stick Lee, a character who can only speak one phrase of English, has been ordered by his mentor, Master Lin-Po to protect Toxo-Zombie, but Stick Lee has no idea what he is protecting him from or when it might strike.
  • Rage Against the Author: Often the characters voice their frustrations over certain plot points to the author.
  • Body Snatcher: Deadpool was forced by Loki to shoot the fanboy who represented the audience. This lead to the heroes being fooled into believing the comic had been cancelled.
  • Bat Signal: Batman is unbeatable IF he has prep time. However he has been beaten when caught off guard.
  • Crossover: All the characters exist in the same universe regardless of origin.
  • Oh Crap! There Are Fanficsof Us...: An imposter of Venom wrote a series of erotic fan-fiction in an attempt to get the Star Wars and G.I. Joe characters to fight each other.
  • Accidental Hero: Toxo-Zombie only became Mayor of 1:18th town and thus leader because no one else would take the job. This was after he was kicked out of Cobra for being a screw up.
  • The Good Captain: Captain America has no sense of humor.
  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Most of the characters in Scale Wars are familiar but slightly different with more absurd character flaws exaggerated.
  • Unusual Euphemism: What the Fudgy!
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Sometimes the cast forgets there is an audience.

Agent Faces: Wait, are you trying to suggest people read this thing?
Toxo-Zombie: Sure, right there see.
Agent Faces: Well ain’t that a thing.
