- Noodle Incident: What brought her to the ground in the first place?
- Veteran Instructor: Like all the Instructors at Shimoji, Sayaka is a Veteran Meteor Sweeper -- of course, that means she occasionally gets Back in The Saddle.

- Big Good: Despite his appearance he does back up his staff.
- Expy: Shares the beard with Gendo Ikari, but Reynolds is a far nicer and more upright person.
