- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Shows her heart in later episodes, along with a Tsundere side when worried.
Shizuha Doi

Meteor Sweepers (Stratos 4 Advance)
The second season featured these three new characters...then promptly stuck the original cast back in. And lampshaded this fact.
Kiriko Aoki

Comet Blasters
An elite team of four Ace Pilots who destroy meteors using Space Planes from orbit. First foes, then friends of the Shimonji Meteor Sweepers.

Shimoji Airbase
Sayaka Kisaragi

- Hot Teacher: Unsurprisingly.
- Dojikko: Occasionally.
- Love Triangle: Between herself, Kazuma and Ran.
- Noodle Incident: What brought her to the ground in the first place?
- Veteran Instructor: Like all the Instructors at Shimoji, Sayaka is a Veteran Meteor Sweeper -- of course, that means she occasionally gets Back in the Saddle.
Robert Reynolds
Voiced by Yousuke Akimoto (JP), Lou Savage (EN)

- Big Good: Despite his appearance he does back up his staff.
- Expy: Shares the beard with Gendo Ikari, but Reynolds is a far nicer and more upright person.
