Taimanin Yukikaze

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

A 2013 Hentai anime, Taimanin Yukikaze is an anime based on a visual novel of same name, set on the same universe as Taimanin Asagi. It was released as a three-episode OVA between 2013 and 2016.

Yukikaze and Rinko are anti-demon ninjas sent on a mission of infiltration of Under Eden, a prostitution ring active on the city of Yomihara, where they must act as prostitutes. To Yukikaze's shock, however, her first client is a politician who she kicked on the mouth very recently after he taunted her about the fate of her mother Shiranui, Yuzaki Muneichi. And with a special magic seal placed on her which makes her obey all of his orders, she is forced to do his whims in hope of finding her mother.

Produced by ZIZ Entertainment. Animated by Magic Bus and Oz. Inc.

Tropes used in Taimanin Yukikaze include:
  • A-Cup Angst: Yukikaze doesn't like when mooks identify her because of her flat chest.
  • Action-Hogging Opening: Certain imagery aside, one could get the impression that they are watching an action themed anime, as opposed to a Hentai that focuses on two women being forced to be Sex Slaves.
  • Adaptation Distillation: Like with the other anime adaptations, many plot points were removed or shortened due the time constraints (by example Rinko's attraction to her brother, the details of Yukikaze and Rinko infiltration of Yomihara, and Yukikaze and Rinko trying to convince Tatsurou that they were hostesses at Under Eden).
  • Adaptation-Induced Plothole: The visual novel makes it clear that Yukikaze and Rinko thought they were going to be disguised as willing prostitutes, but where tricked into to being sex slaves that would be forced to have a magical Slave Brand placed on them, preventing them from resisting. The narrative in the anime make it sound like they knew that they were going to be sex slaves from the very beginning, which made the Taimanin look even more idiotic.
  • Alternative Continuity: Like Hell Knight Ingrid, this OVA is non-canon to the visual novel's storyline.
  • Anachronic Order: The first episode switches focus between the visual novel's Action Prologue and Yukikaze in Under Eden.
  • Beneath the Earth: Most of the story takes place in the underground city of Yomihara.
  • Berserk Button: Yukikaze kicks Yuzaki in the face when he taunts her about her mother's disappearance.
  • Big Bad: Real is the one controlling the prostitution ring which enslaves both Yukikaze and Rinko.
  • Butt Monkey: All the Taimanin in the anime. However, Rinko merits special mention, as she had the misfortune of placed in Under Eden's flesh vessel as part of her "special training". The Organic Technology ravished her non-stop for 2 weeks straight. Keep in mind that when Asagi had her body modified to be more susceptible to sexual stimuli in TA2 (much like Rinko in this anime), she barely held out after 3 days of sexual torment. Naturally, Rinko broke down after she was released.
  • Cross-Popping Veins: Seen on Yukikaze and Rinko after Yazaki's demon bodyguards comedically pushed their Berserk Button.
  • Daydream Surprise: The ending of the last episode involves Tatsurou waking up on his chair after fantasizing of Yukikaze going after him while he is watching the clouds on a grass field.
  • A Day in the Limelight: The second episode almost exclusively focuses on Rinko.
  • Demoted to Extra: Tatsurou goes from being the point-of-view character to only a minor protagonist. Likewise, Slaver Zokuto ends up getting no speaking lines in the anime.
  • Deuteragonist: Rinko Akiyama gets focus on the second episode and shares it with Yukikaze on the first.
  • Dirty Harriet: Yukikaze and Rinko infiltrated under the assumption they would just have a disguise themselves as prostitutes, unfortunately they were forced to be actual slave prostitute.s
  • Downer Ending: This a ZIZ Entertainment adaptation, so this is a given. Although to be fair, the OVA would have likely ended on a bad ending regardless, seeing as adapting the good ending route would have removed most of the H-scenes. As for the ending, Yukikaze and Rinko end up as mind broken sex slaves, while Tatsurou is a broken shell of a man wasting away in his room while watching videos of his girlfriend being violated. To add insult to injury, Tatsurou gets a visit from Yukikaze, who is now pregnant.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: Surprising down quite often with Rinko, as her hairstyle is changed in each episode. This seems to highlight the changes in her personality. During the first episode, she would wear her hair in a ponytail. Throughout the episode she would act cheerful, wise, optimistic, and acts as a supporting friend to Yukikaze. In the second episode, she let her down. During this episode, she is much more stubborn and aggressive, and spends most of the episode trying to resist the sexual torture that she was subjected to her. By the third episode, her hair is changed again to a side plait, and is noticeable much more different than her hair style from the first episode. During this episode, she is now reduced to a quite and submissive Sex Slave, who is no longer capable comforting her friends and won't even look at her, greatly differing from her personality from the first episode.
  • Fat Bastard: Yazaki have a massive belly and commit unspeakable crimes or help in them.
  • Go-Go Enslavement: Yukikaze and Rinko spent most of their screen time in their super revealing Under Eden uniform, as opposed to their Taimanin outfits.
  • Laughing Mad: Rinko does after spending two weeks in Under Eden's flesh vessel.
  • Netorare Genre: Pretty much the second half of the third episode in a nutshell.
  • Pragmatic Adaptation: Largely due to the series being Development Hell after the first episode and being cut from 4 episodes to 3 episodes. The second and third episode, were not well paced and story-focuses as the first episode, they mostly focus on using as many h-scenes they possible could from the visual novel.
  • Sex Slave: Both Yukikaze and Rinko ultimately became this.
  • Shipper on Deck: Rinko is shown openly supporting Yukikaze and Tatsurou's relationship in the first episode.
  • Shoot the Shaggy Dog: Lampshaded by Real when he forced Rinko to endure the "Flesh Vessel". Despite everything that Yukikaze and Rinko had to endure while they were at Under Eden, the sexual torture ended up being too much for them, and they ultimately become nothing than Under Eden's mind broken Sex Slaves. To add insult to injury, they never did find out what happen to Shiranui, unlike in the visual novel.
  • Spear Counterpart: Tatsurou's character design is basically a gender-swap version of his sister (including purple eyes and hair), but younger and shorter. This contrast with his character design in the visual novel.
  • Spin-Off: It focus on two Taimanins which we never seen before, and the ones of the main series do not even appear.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?
    • Unlike in the visual novel, the detail of Shiranui's disappearance and her fate are not revealed in the OVA series. She doesn't even make an appearance outside the opening credits and a bonus prequel.
    • Rinko kind of disappeared halfway through the third episode in the OVA, with no mention of what became of her. Although one can assume that she is still a Sex Slave for Under Eden and is possible pregnant like Yukikaze was in the epilogue.
  • Wretched Hive: Yomihara is full of criminals and prostitutes, many of them of the latter category unwilling.
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: The ending of episode 2 makes it look like that Tatsurou was going to save both his girlfriend and his sister in the next episode. Guess what happens next? He ends up running away, crying, after seeing seeing his mind broken girlfriend having sex with the villains.
