Should we add the "Other" Doctors to this page?

The War Doctor is very much a "canon" Doctor, so yes. So is the Fugitive version. We can reasonably assume if portrayed on the TV series, it's canon and should be included, though without numbers unless otherwise specified.

I'm rusty on my Whovian lore, but I'm willing to vote yes.

RivetVermin (talkcontribs)

Yes to all three. While she's now considered non-canon, what would be the consensus on adding Arabella Weir from Exile?

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

Maybe add the non-canon elements to an "expanded universe" page or pageset, the way we do (if I'm not mistaken) with Star Trek and Star Wars?

HLIAA14YOG (talkcontribs)

I suppose, the War Doctor is valid as the eight(who debuted on a TV movie). However, LooneyToons, I would just like to advise I deliberately quit on Doctor Who after the War Doctor debut so I'm not fitting anymore to fit on any plot newer than that.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

May as well add them. I suspect that the only reason they aren't already on the page is because nobody's made any substantial updates to the page since before they were introduced to canon.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Something to add to my "to-do" list, then. I'll have to do my own research, as my watching has been patchy over the last ten years or so.

Robkelk (talkcontribs)

And I stopped watching before HornyLikeIAmA14YearOldGirl did, so I won't be able to help out here...

HeneryVII (talkcontribs)

Not a regular viewer of the series, but I've seen many Character pages include non-canon characters (like say, One Piece and Dragonball having "Anime Only" and "Video Game only" characters, whose continuity status are debatable because they don't appear in the manga) so it should be fine.

GentlemensDame883 (talkcontribs)

Huh, another out-of-order Doctor? I lost track of the show somewhere near Capaldi's final stretch.

On topic, I would say yes, but wonder if there should be a "spoiler Doctor" subpage for them. The Valeyard being a Doctor was a big deal when it first came out, and these three being Doctors is a spoiler in of itself even without going into what else happens with them.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

And I went ahead and did this one, too. The listing is just of names with short descriptions; some of the Unnumbered Doctors didn't get enough screen time to acquire any characterization tropes; indeed, the entirety of the Older Faces (as I called them) are all basically Just a Face and a Caption.

Thank you so much, LT!
