Some entries are sorted by publisher. Others are sorted by name. This makes it difficult to find any of the entries.

Also, Visual Novels are listed in their own section on the main Gushing page - those games are sorted by genre.

Which one sort method should be used - genre, publisher, name, or something else?

We appear to sort by name virtually everywhere else. And honestly, I'm not going to think of a publisher when I want to find a game, I'm going to think of its title. Sort by name.

Looney Toons has got the right of it: sort by names.

Sorted by name. It's simple and clean.

I was thinking of publishers + an "others" or "unsorted" further divided by alphabet, but I can see the wind's against me.

I was considering genres (you might not care wither the game's from Nintendo or Konami, but you might have a preference between a shooter and a beat'em'up), but I appear to be in the minority as well.

But the thread's still less than a day old, and it's the week before Christmas - let's let this run for a while yet.

Yeah, it's not like we have to sort by name to the exclusion of other methods. Hmm...
