• Alas, Poor Villain: Rommel.
• Badass Decay: Oddly enough, George W. somehow went from "the 64th Gang Leader of Yale," aka "George of the Skull & Bones Society" (revealed in a Chapter 18 flashback) to the Butt Monkey of his first appearances. On the other hand, he got his ass kicked that time anyway.
• Crazy Awesome
• Crosses the Line Twice: The worst example so far has to be Bush Jr.'s night attire in the 3rd OVA. A Ku Klux Klan nightcap? Oh dear...
• Crowning Moment of Awesome: Every chapter seems like it is the best one yet... Then the next chapter comes out.
  • Every time someone pulls out their Finishing Move. Every. Time.
  • Chapter 48's entirety. "FINAL RISING SUN!!!!!"
• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The baseball flashback in chapter 19 of the manga. George Jr... never did forget. You didn't fail him, Papa Bush. You didn't fail him.
  • Oh, and that Theme Music Power-Up? Take Me Out to the Ballgame! Yes, really, and it is 100% Badass
  • This gets extra bonus points for managing to use the real-life Dead Little Sister of the Bush family, Robin, in a completely tasteful and heartwarming manner.
  • And much earlier in the manga when Koizumi is trying to pull a Heroic Sacrifice.

• Evil Is Sexy: Skozerny, Ruddel, Rommel, Tristan and Isolde. Arguably, Yulia and Putin, before banding together along with the other good guys.
• Fan Disservice: Taizo, no one wants to see you naked.
• Genius Bonus: As this page shows, the series has sneaky ShoutOuts for everything from Greek mythology to Dragon Ball to the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Infamous Dragonball Z and Anne Frank crossover fanfic "Until the End of Time" has the memetic line "Hitler had become a Super Saiyan". Guess what happens here.
• Holy Shit Quotient: I think this is self explanatory.
  • Mengele vs Tymoshenko. Poisoning? Damn. Gonna die if it reaches your brain? Double damn. What do you do? YOU TAKE MENGELE'S SCALPEL AND SLIT YOUR THROAT TO BLEED THE POISON OUT.
    • And it somehow worked, without Tymoshenko bleeding to death.
  • A revolution on the moon? But who would be leading it? MOTHER FUCKING ROMMEL.
• Magnificent Bastard: EVERY major character to some degree, but Nazi Special Operative Otto Skorzeny in particular. But then THE Magnificent Bastard HIMSELF shows up. . .
• Never Live It Down: In the anime, at least, George W. Bush is razzed for several flubs from very early in his presidency, including the time he managed to fall off a Segway and the time he nearly died choking on a pretzel. The infamous shoe-throwing incident is also a source of ridicule.
  • This is all highlighted when we see him in bed, where he has a shoe next to his pillow, pretzels by his head, a Segway beside his bed, and a toy plane probably meant to suggest the infamous flight suit/"Mission Accomplished" debacle.
• Tear Jerker: "There is nothing in the moon."
  • Followed by On the day of Rommel's death, the earthlight shone brightly on the moon.
  • After Skorzeny's death: "Return home Skorzeny. This world is full of corruption."
  • "It's a shame, Mr. Junichirou. If I had the ability to cry, those words would have reduced me to tears."
