* Complete Monster: Ragnarok. He destroys suns for a living, not caring if planets in the system support life or not. And all for money at that. And apparently, he likes doing it, since he waited the entire time his sun destroyer was sealed away trying to find instead of moving on to something less omnicidal and threats killing Kevin's father like no big deal.
** Darkstar tends to go in this territory as well; it says something that he was one of the few actually evil villains introduced in the White and Grey Morality first season.
* Copy Cat Sue: Albedo is a possible parody. He got a second Omnitrix, helped created original, comes back with even more powerful version of it and he got an incredibly simple design.

 Ben: Was she cute?

Kevin: More than cute; hot!

• Fan Dumb / Hate Dumb: While some of the criticism to Alien Force are justified, the hate toward the show from original series fans can go to the ridiculously extreme occasionnally.
• Fan Preferred Couple: If you haven't already noticed that there's a large fanbase who hates Kevin/Gwen and wants Ben/Gwen, this is probably the first time you've ever visited Tv Tropes.
• There are quite a few who want Kevin/Ben as well.
• Foe Yay: Gwen with both Darkstar and Charmcaster. Ben and Kevin qualify as "Former Foe Yay".
• Fridge Horror: Imagine being Alien X. You're all-powerful, capable of bending time and space... and unless the voices in your head agree to do anything, you're stuck in place, forced to stand by while horrible things happen.
• Genius Bonus: The Tiffin. If you know what the term means then it's no surprise that he's going to be eaten.
• Like You Would Really Do It: Nearly averted with Max, whom they were planning on killing off, but decided not to.
• Narm: Vilgax's so-called ultimate form? A giant green octopus. Sad because it could have been a great scene if not for limited efforts on the design and a fight that is not even seen onscreen.
• Relationship Writing Fumble: The Kissing Cousins "relationship" of Gwen and Ben is not only back, but it becomes a "love triangle" by adding Ho Yay between Ben and Kevin.
• Romantic Plot Tumor: Gwen and Kevin, quite often.
• The Scrappy: Julie was this for a while, but got Rescued From the Scrappy Heap midway through the second season.
• There are many who don't like the Anodite species as a whole, due to what is felt to be a pointless, as well as sometimes incredibly confusing Retcon, with the representatives of the species not being very well-regarded either.
• Seasonal Rot: The third and final season seems to be the least popular overall, mainly due to Vilgax's Villain Decay; even after it (mostly) came back in the Grand Finale, the actual fight between him and Ben was seriously disappointing, despite the rest of the finale being awesome. Not that it's entirely hated though, as it did introduce us to RATH!!!
• Strangled By the Red String: Gwen and Kevin are one of the finest examples.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The whole "Form A Team Of Plumber Kids".
• And even what they did of this plot didn't amount to much. For a series called Alien Force, the only major things thing they did was fight the Highbreed at the end of season 2, get their asses handed to them by Vilgax at the beginning of season 3 and then got sent off to the Plumber Academy after "Above and Beyond". One must wonder what the point to this plot was when pretty much everything important amounted to Ben, Gwen and Kevin (and Max after season 2)doing all the work.
• Some people complained about things that are established, but are just dropped, or otherwise not elaborated upon (Why Ben decided to remove the Omnitrix, which could have tied into him wondering if his job as a hero is worth it, Kevin being Easily Forgiven and almost entirely trusted, among a few other things.).
• Villain Decay: The Forever Knights were an ancient cult seeking alien technology to facilitate their world conquest. Now, it seems it started in trying to find tech to kill an alien dragon. Fortunately corrected in Ben 10 Ultimate Alien.
• Vilgax is especially known to have suffered this in this show: he got a new, physically much less impressive design, defeated several times by Ben with relative ease occasionnally (despite the fact Ben could hardly handle him in the original show). He also relied on law during his first appearance, which was seen by fans as Out of Character considering his sadistic, genocidal personnality from the original show (though it was strongly implied he did it only to use the law to his advantage; in his later appearances, he has no problem screwing the rules). Similarly, him being double-crossed and kicked of his own planet by Ghostfreak, as well as saving a little alien girl from his empire, was perceived as such as well. The worst however was in Secret of Chromastone, where he ended up catching a cold at the end of the episode (Especially sad considering he was portrayed as actually evil and dangerous before this silly ending). All of this was partially corrected in the finale, and thanksfully again in Ben 10 Ultimate Alien.
• After being a big threat in her debut episode due to powerful magic and cleverness, Charmcaster returns in an alternate timeline in "Time Heals", constantly boasting about how she killed that timeline's Gwen...only to get kicked around by present-Gwen on multiple occasions. It leaves one with the impression she only managed to kill her timeline's Gwen because she got lucky.
• They Changed It Now It Sucks: The reaction of several fans about the show.
• Took a Level In Badass: Ben (in the first two seasons, at least.)
• Took a Level In Dumbass: Ben in season 3, as mentioned above.
• Ugly Cute: Argit. There are some people out there (mostly fangirls and furries) who adore him.
