Online fan comics, basically amounting to a blending of Web Comics with fan fiction. Most Sprite Comics are this by default due to using sprites of characters from pre-existing properties; this is especially true if the sprite comes from a Licensed Game.

The likelihood of seeing one of these reach print of course is a lot lower as they occupy the same grey area of legality as fan fiction.

These, like original universe Web Comics, run the gamut from epic Original Flavour yarns, Cross Overs, the comic equivalent of Dark Fic, to gag strips featuring your favourite characters. Often these elements are blended together.
