Is there a way to manually add a Wikipedia tab for tropes? I understand that’s normally for works, but they do have an article on the trope at Truck-Kun, along with a freely licensed image. (Im not sure if it’s a suitable alternative as an illustrative example though)
I know it's possible -- IIRC all the top-of-page menus are variations on a single ancestor class -- but I'm a content guy, not a coding/architecture guy, where the wiki is concerned. I do know that one reason it was decided to do it that way lo these many years ago was that most tropes wouldn't, and don't, have equivalent Wikipedia pages, so it would be a feature only a very few would actually use.
Hm. Maybe we could make the Wikipedia tab conditional on tropes, such that it only appears if the wppage parm is set for the trope...
