While I've got it on my mind, how exactly should we categorize fan Twitter accounts such as TNG Season 8? Perhaps derivative works or something similar?

We already use a header for "Fan Works", so I would assume that. Would the fact that it has grown in popularity and become officially endorsed/published by the rights-holders alter its "fanwork" status in any way is the next question.
We also have Web Original and New Media headers, and a Twitter feed could easily qualify as the latter.
As "fan work" covers fiction, comics & films, I feel it would take precedent over New Media too.
Per the topic header, how plausible do you think it would be to create something akin to what we have working for Wikipedia - a way to keep track of a creator, brand or work's Twitter presence? I ask this because I was inclined to start a list of creators and the like with Twitter accounts, only to very quickly realize I would probably need the rest of the year to finish it. I'm also more than happy to hear out other alternatives since there's liable to be a lot of possible approaches to this - I just thought I'd offer one to use as a springboard and start the discussion proper first.

Likewise. I know just enough about Twitter to look at it, and to make a plugin for it work on my forums.
From a content perspective, I'm of two minds about this. It would let tropers see their favourite creators' tweets easily... which is both a good and bad thing, depending on the tweet.
From a technical perspective... we'd have to ask the coders. @Labster, is this something we can do? (Not "want to", just "can" at this point.)

On the side, I could also add Twitters to articles, but that'd take a while as is...
Twitter is a much more temporal medium than most websites, given how often handles can change, be taken down, be deactivated, and so on. I'd be fine with adding links in articles, but permanent links to their account in any other way seems like it would be counterproductive due to the technical hurdles.
I don't know how feasible it is from a dev perspective, but it would be nice for getting a heads up when a creator uses Twitter to break their pedestal.
I don't think this is something ATT really needs, and have no idea about the technical side either.
