On several edits. I had actually meant to call it the "Antikythera of Archimedies" but forgot the "of" part. I'll remember the "Mechanism" for future edits.

... but you get to fix the resulting redlink here.
Sorry, mistake on my part. I've undone the reversion.
Thanks.
I know WikiTide is the most similar to Miraheze and would make a good alternative if Miraheze shuts down and I can move my wikis there if necessary, but does AllTheTropes have a contingency plan in place?
We have discussed Start My Own as a last-resort option, even though we don't expect to need it. However, we haven't updated our backup recently.

OK good. It looks like a merger is going to be what happens at the current rate of votes.
Despite what I said in my votes, a merger is probably the best for both Miraheze and WikiTide. I just don't think it's the best for the internet as a whole.
Why not? Are you concerned about links breaking or something?
I'm more concerned about a lack of alternatives to FANDOM.See this Youtube video for why we need alternatives to that service.
It’s just two options becoming one though. And many game wikis are becoming “independent”.
... Why is this being discussed on my personal talk page instead of, say, Talk:Main Page? I am not the owner, operator, or in any way head honcho of the wiki.
You made a post on that RfC about how you didn't want to see AllTheTropes disappear. Sorry to bother you!
Ah, I didn't realize you were responding to that.
Not even a year since the last time, too. Trying to call my host's support line gets me a fast busy signal. Their own site is up, so I'm a little confused what might be happening. There's nothing on their Twitter feed or Facebook page either.

Within the last couple minutes they have identified the problem. From their Twitter feed:

Your forum is back.
Yeah, I just posted to that effect there.
Thanks, though.
Can I still add a trope example to a work even if it's already been added to the same work on TV Tropes? Also, can I make my own ATT version of a TV Tropes trope or work page as long as the topic and examples are explained differently?
Yes to both. If you want to avoid accidental plagiarism, just write your page/examples "clean room", meaning do not use their stuff as a reference, just write it blind without looking at them.
OK!
...from 2 July through 9 July. I will have my tablet and phone handy, so I will not be completely offline, but do not expect me to be online as much as I normally am.

Happy travels and safe trip!
¡Pásala chévere en tu viaje! Have a nice trip!
This is a thing here?
Well, I guess I should probably inform that I too will be out of town 17 to 22 July.
...what makes a person a "Usual Suspect" for a proposed launch?
Oh, there's no formal requirements. I just keep a file with all the FlowMention markups for everyone I'd like to CC on an "all-call" kind of message, so I can cut and paste it in quickly when I want it. I just added you and two other folks to the list yesterday, because even though we haven't given you automoderated status yet you've pretty much demonstrated your bona fides as editors to me and I saw no reason not to solicit your opinion.
OK then!
When I mentioned "Bluenose Bowdlerizer", I was not referring to the first paragraph, but to a spoiler tag in an example.
Fair enough.
Hi Looney, I'm here to tell you that I won't be using this account anymore. I already have my hands full with many things and I am editing on another wiki.
Hello @LiaMinina. None of the admins here can delete an account. If you really want it removed, you'll have to ask the Miraheze Stewards here... but if that "another wiki" you mentioned is also hosted by Miraheze, you would lose access to it as well.
What we usually do in cases like this is leave the account open and inactive, in case you change your mind and come back later.
-Robkelk, admin.
What Rob said. There really isn't anything I can add to that.
THANK you, I spent about an hour trying to figure out how that worked
