A Web Video review-series featuring Stephan, a Texan animator and reviewer, and Nootrac, a cartoon circle drawn by the former who came to life one day. We're not allowed to know how. As you can tell from the title, they review animated films and series, both with their own critiques. There is a major plot growing behind the scenes, however...

This series contains examples of:

• Accentuate the Negative: Averted; he always points out the better parts of the film as well as the weaker ones, sometimes as himself and sometimes through Nootrac.
• Acceptable Targets: Bronies.
• And Now for Something Completely Different: The "Top 8" List and the occasional "Actual Animated Analysis," which is less comedic review and more...well, an actual in-depth analysis/review of a film or series.
• Apologetic Attacker: Nootrac after tackling a Brony to the ground.
• Big Bad: The Sorcerer.
• Caustic Critic: Even if he does find something he likes about a bad movie, he probably won't be happy about it.
• Crossover: They team up with The Film Renegado to review The Road to El Dorado.
• Deal with the Devil: Stephan agreed to let Evil Guy/The Sorcerer take over his body in exchange for bringing Nootrac to life.
• Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": The evil guy possessing Stephan is credited as "Evil Guy". In the second season it's revealed his name is...The Sorcerer.
• Evil Sounds Deep/Voice of the Legion: The voice in Stephan's head.
• Flat What: Stephan delivers one in his review of Corpse Bride.
• Horror Doesn't Settle for Simple Tuesday: Anonymous attacks Stephan and Nootrac on Christmas Eve.
• Hostile Show Takeover: Evil Guy takes control of the show in the season 2 premier to keep up appearances and ruin Stephan's credibility.
• Nausea Fuel: Finds some in almost every aspect of Corpse Bride.
• Noodle Incident: How Nootrac came to life.
• Sdrawkcab Name: "Nootrac".
• Shout-Out: To the often-copied Top 11 Lists.

Stephan: Why top 8? Because making lists is haaaaaaaard.

• • In his "review" on Bronies and the show they fan over, the scene where he invites a Brony into his home and greets him is one big Shout-Out to To Catch a Predator. Stephan even says "Why don't you have a seat?"
• Slasher Smile: When the...thing possessing Stephan gets out. It's quite unnerving.
• Split Personality Takeover: Evil Guy takes control of Stephan's body in the Season 1 finale, but rescinds it by the end of the next episode.
• Talking to Himself: He does every voice on the show, most often Nootrac but also anybody else including his younger self and The Joker.
• Tempting Fate: Stephan scoffing at the threats from Anonymous.

Stephan: I'm sure there's no way this will bite me in the ass later.

• Voice of the Legion: Anonymous.
• What Do You Mean It's for Kids?: Stephan and Nootrac get increasingly distressed while watching The Brave Little Toaster.

Stephan: WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MOVIE?!?!
