Destination: Equestria/Characters

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Crystal Sprint

  • Bi the Way: Is bisexual. Treats this fact rather casually.
  • Blood Knight: Loves seeking new challenges.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: Averted. When Galamoth wiped her memories away, she had forgotten how to even speak.
    • That being said, this was completely intentional on Galamoth's part - in this instance, he had the ability to strip away any aspect of her memory. Removing her knowledge of speech and writing allowed him to prevent her from telling anyone that he was up to no good.

Captain Ironhide

Provides examples of

A Father to His Men

  • To a degree. While he doesn't have a particularly personal relationship with...anyone, he does respect and value those under his command.

Barrier Warrior

  • He specializes in the use of barrier magic, a large part of why he became part of the Royal Guard.

Heroes Prefer Swords

  • Not that he's a hero, or thinks of himself as one, but as an officer he uses a sword as his primary weapon.

Immortality Seeker

  • There's nothing he'd like better than to be able to serve forever, given the chance.

Perpetual Frowner

  • He very seldom has anything approaching a smile on his face.

The Captain

  • Obviously.

The Fettered

The Stoic

  • Unlike some examples, he does, in fact, have emotions, but he very seldom openly shows them. This is related to his mentality of never truly being off-duty.

Undying Loyalty

  • If Princess Celestia or Princess Luna asks, tells, or orders him to do something(the three aren't too distinct for him), he will do it. He may not necessarily understand it, he may even question it, but there is no question that he will do it.

Leeroy "Nash" Gallowglass

Shows you the bleached skulls of the following tropes before adding them to his skull throne:

Tsundere: W-what!? He is most certainly NOT this way for Jones! What gave you that idea!?

Marnax Three

Marnax Three is one of the five dimension-hopping Time Lords, all known as the Marnaxes, who generally bum around space and time fighting evil, toppling empires, and trying new flavors of yogurt.

  • Big Sister Instinct Marnax Three is extremely protective of her niece, Kate when it comes to boyfriends, to the point that when Kate and Kamina faked a relationship as a prank, she literally exploded from sheer rage.

Mortimer

Provides examples of

Death's Hourglass

  • When asked by someone how much time the person has left, he would consult the respective hourglass before giving a (mostly vague) answer.

Dont Fear The Reaper

  • Mort is neither a thundering force of the universe nor a heartless judge, but actually a very friendly guy.

Like You Were Dying

  • How he advises people to live their lives.

Sharp-Dressed Man

  • Instead of the "cloaked skeleton" look, he sports a dark suit, tie and red shirt.

The Grim Reaper

  • Because...well, that's who he is.

Wine Is Classy

  • Mort consumes ridiculous amounts of wine.

Death Is A Seriously Classy Guy

Pinkie Pie

Provides examples of

Breaking the Fourth Wall

  • On a regular basis.

Cloud Cuckoo Lander

  • Especially noticeable whenever she comes together with her friends Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. While the well-read and generally smart Twilight is able to display a downright remarkable amount of cluelessness, Pinkie's words and actions sometimes hint at the fact that she knows what's going on better than most.

I Want My Beloved to Be Happy

  • Her relationship with Rainbow Dash.
