JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Abridged/YMMV
- "Weird Al" Effect: Antfish's "Hoes and Wine" Polnareff's parody, which was released as an bonus video to this series, is by the early 2020s more known than "Wenches and Mead" from Alestorm. And considering the lack of overlap between those two fandoms, Jojo fans tend to mistake it for being original.
- Nightmare Fuel - Hol Horse's dreams are...unsettling, to say the least.
- Alternate Character Interpretation
- Standard Abridged Series fare, but Iggy stands out, being re-imagined as something akin to Handbanana
- N'Doul as a Blaxploitation character complete with borderline Tear Jerker death scene.
- Complete Monster: J. Giel and Dio Up to Eleven
- Crosses the Line Twice:
J. Geil: "Oh, I'm sorry, my mistake. I raped her. Then I killed her. Then I dressed her up as Liza Minnelli. Then I raped her again. I know. I'm f* cked up like that." |
- Crowning Music of Awesome:
- Hoes and Wine, ALL ZE TIME!
- The full version he put out in MP3 form on St. Patrick's Day 2010 is even better.
- The opening credits music is also pretty badass.
- Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: "MANLIEST HUG!!!"
- Cult Classic: A special case. Though considered funny and well made for those who watched it at the time, it is appeal at the time of release was pretty limited given the source's lack of fame outside Japan and if it wasn't for the fact Antfish also guest-starred in Dragon Ball Abridged, it would have never likely reached even a thousand of views. Then the parent series got a new anime adaptation which boosted the series' fame to stratospheric levels, and soon this abridged series became well more known and beloved by the growing JoJo western fanbase.
- Memetic Mutation:
- What is this I don't even?
- Ah My Sexy Hand!
- Squick:
- Joseph's description of the picture he offers D'Arby is truly cringe-worthy. Apparently was based on a fanart which does exist.
- Says you.
Joseph: That's a picture. Of me. Sitting on a couch. With my legs spread open. Naked. This picture was on the cover of GDILFs Magazine's 'Top Ten Sexiest, Most F*** able Grandpas. I was number one. Beating both Monkey D. Garp from One Piece, and Uncle Iroh from Avatar. |
- Tear Jerker
- "Tonight... me."
- Kakyoin's death is even sadder.
- Set to music from The Land Before Time, no less!
- Then immediately made funny with the following letter sequence accompanied by Ren and Stimpy music.
- So is Abdul's second death.
- Antfish's tribute to Ronnie James Dio
- N'Doul's death scene can be taken as this, considering how different it is from the manga
