Nozomi Entertainment is an Anime licensing company based in Iowa, United States. It's a division of mail-order retailer Right Stuf, and went by that same name up until 2007. They generally have an excellent reputation, choosing high-quality series and when possible, putting out releases that are also as high quality. As seen here, they have plenty of rescued titles from shuttered companies and classic titles, some with fandoms that had little realistic hope to see the titles in the states again.
Works released by this company include:
- Aria
- Astro Boy (1964-1966 series)
- Boogiepop Phantom
- Boys Be...
- Comic Party (original 2001 series only; the 2005 Revolution sequel was licensed by ADV Films and later FUNimation)
- Dirty Pair (OVAs and the film, which were previously released by ADV Films, as well as the TV series, which was not)
- El Hazard: The Wanderers (previously released by Geneon)
- Emma: A Victorian Romance
- Gasaraki (previously released by ADV Films)
- Gravitation
- His and Her Circumstances
- Irresponsible Captain Tylor
- Kimba the White Lion (the original series)
- Lost Universe (previously released by ADV Films)
- Maria Watches Over Us
- Martian Successor Nadesico (previously released by ADV Films)
- Ninja Nonsense
- Rental Magica
- Revolutionary Girl Utena (previously released by Central Park Media)
- Shingu: Secret of the Stellar Wars
- Sound of the Sky
- Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko (only the two OVA series, not the later TV series)
- Super GALS! (initially only the second season; later rereleased the first season, previously released by ADV Films)
- The Third the Girl With The Blue Eye (as of early 2012, this was the last Nozomi release for which an English dub was commissioned)
- To Heart (only the original 1999 TV series)
