• In the first episode, Slade is seen being served tea by a butler. The Butler is named Wintergreen, and he was Slade's regular sidekick in the comics. He was most likely added to the first episode with the intention of developing into the same role in the cartoon, but was then dropped in favor of Slade working alone.

• Hey, It's That Voice!
  • Xander Berkeley as Mento and General Immortus, Peter Onorati as Robotman and |Judge Reinhold as Negative Man.
  • Of course, the show has Michael Rosenbaum and Wil Wheaton as two of the original sidekick-based Titans from the 60's, Kid Flash and Aqualad. Not to mention the turn Speedy's VA took in playing the character in JLU, the closest the two continuities ever really got.
  • Michael Rosenbaum voicing Kid Flash would count as a sort-of crossover, too, as he voiced Flash on Justice League. The Flash on the show was identified as Wally West and the Kid Flash on Teen Titans is clearly based on West.
  • Ron Perlman is Slade.
  • And let's not forget Lauren Tom as Jinx and Gizmo, thought the latter is a bit difficult to tell, being a boy.
  • The voices of the main Titans can be heard in other shows. For example, Nia sounds like Starfire, Chiro sounds like Beast Boy, etc.
  • Keith David is Atlas.
  • Most of the main cast (with the exception of Starfire, but throw in Terra) later showed up in Ben 10 Alien Force.
  • Two members of the main cast (Raven and Cyborg) also did voices for original Ben 10 series.
  • Tom Kane guest-stars as "Bob" in Employee of the Month.
  • Rodger Bumpass (Professor Membrane and Squidward) is Dr. Light.
  • Tom Kenny is Mumbo.
  • Geez, this far and no mention of Lloyd Irving and Ma-Ti as Robin yet?
  • Terra is Gretchen Grundler.
  • Henry Rollins is Johnny Rancid.
  • Mother Mae-Eye is Witchie-poo!
  • Alex DeLarge is Mad Mod.
  • Beast Boy and Terra are Chiro and Jinmay

• Playing Against Type: Kevin Michael Richardson, best known for playing deep-voiced characters, plays the high-pitched See-More.
  • Hynden Walch as the villainesses Madame Rouge and Blackfire.
• Screwed by the Network: For unknown reasons, though various rumors have popped up, Cartoon Network chose not to renew the show for a sixth season. As a result, an episode that would have been great as a standalone piece becomes underutilized as the series finale.
• Talking to Himself: In Venezuela, Robin and Beast Boy were both voiced by Ezequiel Serrano.
• Vocal Evolution: Greg Cipes's voice broke halfway through season 1, forcing him to using a higher voice which became his trademark.
  • Raven's voice also sounds considerably different in early episodes. It was more high pitched and nasal. I guess puberty struck both of them.
• What Could Have Been: In the comics, Brother Blood is the title of the leader of the Church of Blood. The Church of Blood is a cult that worships Trigon, and the leader is specifically the emissary of Trigon himself. How cool of a tie-in to season 4 could that have made?
  • Blackfire completely disappears after Betrothed, even though she would be eager to get revenge on Starfire for overthrowing her rule of Tamaran, and thus would have probably wanted to join the Brotherhood of Evil...
    • Blackfire actually does appear again, in an issue of the comic series, where she teams up with Madame Rouge while still in jail. In that issue, Starfire's backstory is revealed and Madame Rouge poses as the girls' brother, Wildfire. Starfire sees this as a Moral Event Horizon, and finishes the issue with a vow to find Wildfire. Nothing is ever said about it again.
  • The series was not supposed to end at season 5; the final episode, Things Change, was supposed to plant the seeds for a sixth season, which never came to be.
  • Beast Boy's design was originally very different. Wondergirl was meant to be a part of the Titans, however she wasn't put it due to legal reasons.
  • Slade was supposed to team up with the Brotherhood of Evil in season 5 and become a (successful) Starscream. Instead, he gets relegated to a cameo in the final episode.
