Films that belong to the Fantasy genre.

For tropes commonly used in these works, see Speculative Fiction Tropes.

Note that "Fantasy" here can mean anything from your typical sword-and-sorcery medieval story, to modern Urban Fantasy. These can be played completely straight, or parodied to heck and back.

We know that drawing the line between these and sci-fi can get a bit confusing, so just use your best judgment in deciding which category a given work should fall under. However, if it's a modern-day setting with only a few fantasy elements for humorous effect, then it's probably "Embellished" rather than Fantasy.

If you feel that a work is listed here in error, please bring it up on the discussion page before removing it. Please note that Animated Films should be listed in the Fantasy Animated Films index.
