Written by Rossano Rossi, Ramba is a fourteen issue adult comic series by Eros Comix. The protagonist of the series is named "Ramba" who is an italian hitwoman who carries out her assassinations throughout the series, while at the same time has sexual encounters no matter who they are.
Not to be confused with Ramba Ral. Or Ranma. Or a Roomba.
Tropes used in Ramba include:
- All Men Are Perverts
- All Women Are Lustful: Especially Ramba.
- Anything That Moves
- Bigger Is Better in Bed: Several characters in the series. Deconstructed; it is shown as being painful to the women involved, and is sometimes used to deliberately torture them.
- Big No
- But You Screw One Goat!: In one scene in "Violent Death" with Ramba has her pet cat Lucifer after finding out she has another target to assassinate.
- Contract on the Hitman
- Derelict Graveyard: In one issue, Ramba goes scuba diving in a graveyard of sunken ships froma World War Two battle. She encounters villains attempting to retrieve a huge shipment of morphine that was on one of the supply ships.
- Even the Girls Want Her
- Fright Deathtrap: Used when Ramba when she is hired to kill a mob boss and make it look like natural causes. She breaks into his doctor's office and learns that he has a weak heart. She then breaks into his bedroom and throws a knife at him. The knife is tied to a string around her wrist and stops short of his chest, but the fright triggers a fatal heart attack.
- Girl-On-Girl Is Hot
- Gorn: One example in "Hired Avenger" is when Ramba kills Ronald Miller with her silencer equipped UZI to the head that his head exploded.
- Groin Attack: Ramba chops off one of the thugs members in "Violent Death".
- How Unscientific: "Vendetta From Hell". Black magic and actual demons make their only appearance in Ramba's world.
- Hunting the Most Dangerous Game
- I Love the Dead: In "Violent Death", after assassinating her target, Ramba is provoked to have intercourse with the dead body.
- Interspecies Romance: Between Ramba and her pet cat Lucifer.
- Mile-High Club
- Outside Context Villain: In "Vendetta From Hell", Ramba fights a black magic coven that summons a demon in an attempt to kill her. This was the only appearance of the supernatural in the series.
- Out with a Bang
- Pizza Boy Special Delivery
- Professional Killer: Ramba is an Assassin.
- Shout-Out: Bizarrely, the title character is shown watching Superman: The Movie while waiting on a hit, complete with stills from the film.
