Hm. It's already tagged as a trivia trope... I suppose Just for Fun suits it best. Or we could specify that it's creator-specific.
Though I find its existence suspicious and related to the worship of celebrities, which I found repulsive in both a moral and personal level, it's trivia and it will not polute the main pages with irrelevant information about how this random celebrity it's "totally like one of us guys"!
I asked for the input, knowing how HornyLikeIAmA14YearOldGirl has given similar input in the past.
I'm more puzzled by the rhetoric of "polluting the main pages" and projecting their moral repulsions onto it.
I just want normal pages to be devoid of irrelevant celebrity stuff. I found that both annoying and weirdly reminiscent of cults like Scientology. I have seen people genuinely worship Ewan McGregor for playing Obi-Wan on a movie and that made me very paranoid that this celebrity worship is reaching "if I say jump, you say how high" levels of mind control.
You consider it personally irrelevant, doesn't mean it's irrelevant to others - far more importantly, you shouldn't conflate acknowledgements of celebrity and the way they connect with their audience with worship thereof.
Only three hours and it looks like we already have consensus... but let's leave this running for a day just in case.
I think I like keeping it as trivia trope. That said, I am more resistant to change than I should be.
