Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme/Characters

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Characters from Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme include:

Liam / Lynn

One of the two researchers for Abbadon Pharmaceuticals whose gender bender formula kick starts the plot.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Catgirl: One of the genetic alterations Lynn can receive, giving her a feline Petting Zoo People appearance.
  • Dark Skinned Redhead: Liam/Lynn's female appearance.
  • For Science!: A major raison d'etre for the Gender Bender research, though slightly less so than Dina.
  • Nice Guy / Nice Girl: For the most part Dina generally is the most conscientious between her and Dina of their role in the involuntary transformation of everyone into women and tries her best to be the more understanding of the two to the others who aren't happy with their transformations.
  • Morally-Ambiguous Doctorate: Somewhat. Realizes they are responsible for turning everyone in the lab into a girl and is more concerned about it than Derek/Dina, but otherwise is somewhat amoral at the same time, figuring that a temporary transformation into another gender would give everyone a new look at life. Immediately regrets this assumption when she finds out the transformation is permanent on everyone involved in the initial explosion. Also tends to serve as Dina's conscience and vetoes some of her more Mad Scientist moments.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: Permanently stuck as a girl.

Derek / Dina

One of the two researchers for Abbadon Pharmaceuticals whose gender bender formula kick starts the plot.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Big Beautiful Woman: Blimped out somewhat post sex change, but still managed to retain rather good looks.
  • Catgirl: One of the genetic alterations Dina can receive, giving her a feline Petting Zoo People appearance.
  • For Science!: A major raison d'etre for the Gender Bender research.
  • Gag Boobs: Upgrades to this ASAP from her initial flat looking appearance.
  • Jerkass: Dina can be really insensitive.
  • Pettanko: Her transformation starts out with her having no bust whatsoever, which doesn't please her in the slightest.
  • Mad Scientist: Not insane per se, but would obviously have almost no restraint whatsoever if Lynn wasn't around.
  • Morally-Ambiguous Doctorate: Rather amoral about turning everyone else beside herself and Lynn into women, though not without some appreciation for her responsibility for what happened.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: Permanently stuck as a girl.

"I'm the only black guy in this lab"

Dan / Danielle

A description of the character goes here.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Loophole Abuse: Goes by "Dan" even after accepting the name Danielle, since it's still technically accurate and allows her to be called by her original name regardless.
  • Transgender: Male to female.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: Permanently stuck as a girl.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:

Zeke / Zara

A description of the character goes here.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Freaky Is Cool: The whole turning into a girl thing took a bit to get accustomed to, but turning into a wererabbit and even just getting bunny ears was Zeke's idea of awesome from the get go.
  • Fun T-Shirt: As a male his shirt has a space invader on it. As a girl, it's a Tri-Force symbol.
  • Transgender: Male to female.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: Averted. Can switch genders at will thanks to the improved gender switching formula.

Alexandra (Lexie)

A description of the character goes here.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Cosplay Otaku Girl
  • Freaky Is Cool: Thinks Zeke turning into a girl is awesome. The fact that people gender bending (even in universe) and even getting animal like features doesn't seem to faze her at all, though Zeke's route take place when the latter is becoming common.
  • If It's You, It's Okay: Liked Zeke but just couldn't be with him as a lesbian, but him turning into Zara provided a nice loophole for her sexuality.
  • Immune to Drugs: Was apparently immune to very same gas that turned Zeke into a girl despite being in the same area it went off. Then again, it may have been tailored to his specific DNA.
  • Insistent Terminology: Wants to be called "Lexie-chan", nothing else.
  • Occidental Otaku
  • Slasher Smile: Her face seems to be frozen with this expression about half the time.
  • Wrong Genre Savvy: Well, considering she lives like she's in an anime, Zeke definitely thinks so. Then again, considering she's in an Animesque game with a semi-soft approach to sci-fi and anime tropes, she's only wrong to a degree.

Nathan / Nadine

Nathan is the suit who is Liam and Derek's boss and who justifies their funding.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:

Rose / Russell

Nathan's fiance, turns male in her own route as Russell.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Cursed With Awesome: Gets caught in a trap in the beginning of his route where he getr subjected to sex change gas, which doesn't initially seem to have any effect. Turns out it just took a little while to take effect. In any event, the result was that Russell gained shapeshifter powers to be anyone he comes in physical contact as but only when in contact with them in his base form as Russell
  • Happily Married: Is this with way with Nathan (as Nadine) in his own route.
  • Meganekko
  • Selfcest: Discovers how to turn into an exact clone of Nadine, who suggest they try this trope. They Do.
  • Transgender: Female to male, though this gets played with in her own route.

Alleane / Matt

A description of the character goes here.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Cursed with Awesome: He was turned into a girl with no warning at all. Doesn't really mind, as he was attempting to transition the usual way to begin with, this just expedited the process.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: Permanently stuck as a girl, not that she minds
  • Transgender: Was one before the transformation, this just made it easier.

Natalya

The head of Abbadon Pharmaceuticals legal team.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:

Jack

A description of the character goes here.

Tropes exhibited by this character include:
  • Arbitrary Skepticism: Immediately dismisses the gender change thing as implausible and unable to happen in reality. In his defense, he's being informed of this during the first few hours of it happening while everyone is in shock.
  • Dirty Old Man: To the point he's pissed off most of the town.
  • Ironic Hell: Got turned into a girl once as punishment for creeping on them.
